The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with experience developing fleet accounts, working with commercial customers, and managing the entire sales process from prospecting through vehicle delivery. This position is responsible for expanding our commercial presence throughout the market by creating long-term partnerships with businesses, municipalities, contractors, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Account Management
  • Develop and grow new commercial and fleet business through strategic prospecting and relationship-building.
  • Manage and expand existing fleet accounts while identifying opportunities for additional vehicle sales and service business.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with business owners, fleet administrators, purchasing managers, and decision-makers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding each customer's operational needs and recommending customized vehicle solutions.
  • Represent J. Allen Ford at networking events, community organizations, and industry functions to strengthen commercial partnerships.
Commercial Sales
  • Guide customers through the complete commercial sales process, including vehicle selection, ordering, pricing, financing, leasing options, and delivery.
  • Prepare competitive fleet quotes, proposals, and government or commercial bid submissions.
  • Maintain expertise in Ford Commercial products, fleet incentives, and manufacturer programs.
  • Structure profitable fleet transactions while remaining competitive within the marketplace.
Fleet Operations
