Warehouse Operations Manager:

Lead a Warehouse Team at a well-established, successful, and growing Wholesale Distributor in Tualatin, OR. We are a company that has been distributing high quality products with customer excellence to our customers for over 100 years and still going strong. We are looking for an experienced manager that can train and mentor our warehouse team and move us forward with continued growth and success.


Responsibilities:

1. Daily Warehouse Operations

a. Warehouse employee team allocation and management

b. Oversee receiving, processing, routing, staging, and loading of daily route delivery and transfer orders

c. Coordinate receiving of bulk and package truck loads

2. Leadership and Team Development

a. Report to and work with the Branch Operations Manager to provide strong leadership and management of team assignments for accountability and alignment with our culture.

b. Mentor, coach, and train team personnel on SOP’s, responsibilities, and our culture of service, integrity, trust, grit, and ingenuity.

c. Work closely with other team members and promote strong collaboration with direct and open communication.

3. Inventory Management

a. Collaborate with our Purchasing and Bulk Operations Department to maintain optimal inventory levels.

b. Strategize with Bulk Operations and Warehouse Team to determine and optimize product organization.

4. Fleet and Driver Support

a. Collaborate with Fleet Coordinator/Driver Manager and driver team to ensure driver safety and performance.

b. Support with logistics of 3rd party required fleet maintenance.

5. Sales and Customer Service/Relations

a. Communicate regularly with Sales Team and office staff to facilitate fulfillment, support growth and provide superior customer satisfaction.

6. Safety and Compliance

a. Consistently promote and enforce safety policies and compliance requirements throughout the warehouse.

b. Lead consistent and pertinent safety briefings with the warehouse team

c. Communicate safety, facility and compliance related concerns effectively to the Branch Operations Manager

Full-time position:

M-F, 7:00am-4:00pm+ with overtime as required to fulfil all job requirements.

1. 10+ years of warehouse experience with 5 + years of demonstrated warehouse operational management experience and success in:

a. Operations Logistics – shipping, receiving, deliveries, inventory management

b. Leadership and Management of a diverse team of warehouse employees

c. Success in Operational Customer Service

d. Office Management and Processing understanding

e. Forklift Certified

f. Proficient in working within ERP business platforms (CSD preferred) and Microsoft programs
