The Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising plays an integral role in bringing the brand to life across retail environments through compelling, on-brand displays, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising collateral. Reporting to the Director of Visual Merchandising, this role supports the end-to-end development and execution of visual merchandising initiatives and partners cross-functionally with Retail Sales, Marketing, Creative, Field, Product Development, and Vendor partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand and retailer standards.
What You'll Do
  • Support the development and execution of retail displays, fixtures, merchandising collateral, and in-store materials from concept through in-store activation
  • Build and maintain project timelines, master calendars, and launch schedules to ensure on-time execution and cross-functional visibility
  • Own weekly vendor status updates and help streamline cross-functional communication to support efficient project delivery
  • Brief creative requests clearly, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are aligned across teams
  • Support planogram development and updates in partnership with Retail Sales
  • Partner with cross functional team and vendors on renderings, layouts, prototypes, and production execution
  • Conduct prototype reviews and lead fit, function, and quality requirements, providing clear, technically informed vendor feedback
  • Apply a working understanding of engineering and production constraints to support execution decisions and value engineering
  • Research and track merchandising trends, materials, and retail innovations
  • Support vendor relationship management, including coordination, performance tracking, bidding support, and negotiating assistance
  • Partner with VM Director on sourcing, vendor onboarding, and compliance with internal procurement processes
  • Track budgets, estimates, and invoices to support cost control and on-budget execution
  • Partner with Retail Sales to ensure merchandising meets retailer specifications and brand standards
  • Own hotline tracking with the field team, managing and fast-tracking in-store needs, issues, and escalations to resolution
  • Coordinate with Field and vendors to troubleshoot in-store execution challenges
  • Support post-launch analysis and assist in compiling insights to inform future merchandising initiatives

What You'll Bring

  • Beauty industry experience required; specialty retail experience preferred
  • International beauty experience preferred
  • Experience supporting planogramming and in-store visual execution for both permanent and temporary displays
  • Working knowledge of retail production processes, materials, fixtures, and POS
  • Experience collaborating with vendors, including prototype reviews and production feedback
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and urgent in-store needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred

$110,000 - $140,000 a year
The base salary range for this role is listed above.
Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.'s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
