Job description

UF Health St. Johns is seeking a BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join our growing cardiovascular program and help expand vascular surgery services throughout St. Johns County, Florida. This position offers the unique opportunity to build a thriving community-based vascular practice while collaborating closely with the nationally recognized vascular surgery team at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville. The incoming surgeon will be supported by a strong referral base and work alongside cardiologists, CT Surgeons, endovascular specialists, and advanced practice providers to provide comprehensive vascular care.

UF Health Durbin is a 42.5 acre health and wellness campus that will advance health care services as part of UF's regional expansion plan for Jacksonville and St. Johns County. Located in northeast St. Johns County, UF Health Durbin Park will include a full -service 99-bed hospital with a focus on acute, intensive, emergency care, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, general surgery, cardiovascular medicine, and women's services as well as a multidisciplinary medical office building. Future potential site development include the ability to expand hospital beds as well as an ambulatory surgical center, outpatient imaging and additional medial office building.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery
  • Experience in both open and endovascular procedures, including aortic disease, peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access, and venous disease
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure
