Job description

Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida, is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join its team. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a 335-bed hospital recognized among America's 50 Best. The hospital is part of Flagler Health, a healthcare enterprise dedicated to advancing the health of Northeast Florida communities.

  • Case assignments include Cardiac, General, Endo, Ortho, OB, Vascular, Neuro, GYN, Urology, Radiology, Electrophysiology & more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Salary: if Cardiac Trained, $525,000
  • Sign on Incentives: $100,000 for 3 year commitment

Requirements

  • M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
  • TEE proficiency is required
