We are seeking a highly skilled Tool/Fixture Builder to join our team. This role is critical to our operations, as the successful candidate will be responsible for producing machine-assembled tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges used in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tooling and fixture building, with a strong background in either automotive or aerospace sectors.
Responsibilities:
• Create and assemble complex tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges by interpreting and analyzing blueprints, sketches, specifications, and technical descriptions.
• Utilize advanced machining techniques to produce high-quality components, ensuring that all tools and fixtures meet stringent industry standards.
• Accurately assemble tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges, applying detailed knowledge of materials, machining processes, and assembly methods.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the tool-building process, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to ensure that all tools and fixtures meet the required specifications and are delivered on time.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed tools and fixtures to verify that they meet all design and functionality requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of all tool-building activities, including measurements, adjustments, and modifications made during the process.
Qualifications:
