Their primary responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction, increasing profitability, and maintaining efficient workflow in these departments. They work closely with service advisors, technicians, and parts staff to coordinate repairs, maintenance, and parts sales. Effective Fixed Operations Managers also focus on staff training, process improvement, and meeting performance targets for the dealership.

Job description

Groundskeeper & Maintenance TechnicianLargo, Florida | Full-Time | On-SiteWe are seeking a highly organized, proactive person to take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of a private residence and ranch-style estate, with a strong hands-on approach to maintaining, fixing, and keeping everything in top condition. This is a working, on-the-ground role for someone who prefers doing things themselves — fixing, adjusting, organizing, and keeping the property in excellent condition day to day.Not a desk-based management position. You won’t just oversee the work — you will be directly involved in it, ensuring everything is handled with care, attention, and ownership.Your MissionTo keep the estate running smoothly by personally maintaining the property, addressing issues as they arise, and ensuring everything is consistently clean, functional, and well cared for. What You’ll Do
  • Perform day-to-day upkeep of the property, including fixing, adjusting, and maintaining various areas as needed
  • Handle minor repairs and improvements to keep the estate in top condition
  • Regularly walk the property to identify anything that needs attention and take action
  • Keep outdoor and indoor areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Ensure everything on the property is working properly and safely
  • Coordinate vendors for specialized work when needed (but handle what you can independently)
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and materials required for ongoing upkeep
  • Support overall organization of the estate, bringing order and consistency to daily operations
  • Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and general grounds upkeep
  • Monitor and maintain irrigation systems
  • Ensure all outdoor equipment is in working order and properly stored
  • Keep all exterior areas clean, organized, and presentable.
Who You Are
  • Naturally hands-on — you prefer fixing and improving things yourself rather than delegating
  • Take ownership and treat the property with care and attention to detail
  • Practical, resourceful, and able to figure things out independently
  • Reliable and consistent — you follow through and keep things in order
  • Comfortable working in a private, trust-based environment
  • Notice small details and take initiative without needing direction
Preferred Background
  • 2+ years of experience in property care, maintenance, estate support, or similar hands-on roles
  • Basic repair and upkeep skills (general maintenance, light repairs, organization)
  • Comfortable with tractors, tools, and outdoor work
  • Basic plumbing/electrical skills a plus
What Makes This Role Unique
  • A truly hands-on role where your work has immediate, visible impact
  • High level of trust and autonomy in managing the property day to day
  • Opportunity to take real ownership of a private estate environment
ScheduleFull-time, on-site
Approximate schedule: 8:30/9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Flexibility is required based on property needs. What We Offer:
  • Salary based on experience and performance
  • Weekly pay
Ready to Take Ownership? Please keep in mind that the person should carry out all day-to-day operations of the private estate, personally handling maintenance, coordination with vendors as needed, and upkeep to ensure the property runs smoothly and meets established standards. If you are someone who enjoys working with your hands, takes pride in keeping things in excellent condition, and wants to be trusted with a private estate, we’d love to meet you.Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment screening, which may include a background check.
