Job Summary:

At Timeless Medical Systems, we utilize technology to improve patient outcomes with advanced nutrition management. Due to continued growth and global expansion, we are seeking a highly strategic and operational Controller to join our team to work out of our Prince Edward Island Office.


Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee financial operations for our medical software development company, managing complex requirements across multiple legal business entities. You will support a global workforce consisting of approximately 135 employees and international contractors, ensuring seamless financial and payroll operations. You will spearhead the continuous improvement of existing QBO processes and HubSpot CRM integrations while providing daily leadership, management, and mentorship to the current finance team to foster a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

Job Duties:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the current finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement of QBO processes and HubSpot CRM integrations to eliminate manual data entry and streamline financial operations.
  • Partner with the CFO to direct daily financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple legal entities.
  • Manage consolidation, multi-currency accounting, and intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee accurate payroll processing and contractor payouts for a global staff of approximately 135 employees and various international contractors.
  • Collaborate with the CFO, CEO and COO on strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract and/or invoice documentation is completed and communicated within set timelines.
  • Proactive communication and collaboration with team members to support overall organizational success.
  • Cash flow analysis and budgeting oversight.
  • Reporting monthly, quarterly, yearly financial results to the Senior Management Team, enabling informed decision making.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional designation required.
  • 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience successfully managing an enterprise-level financial system.
  • Strong working knowledge of multi-entity, multi-currency financial consolidations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective time management, planning and administrative skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities with a strong emphasis on listening, presenting, and facilitation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite, with a propensity for learning new technology and software systems. Experience with HubSpot preferred.
  • Basic security clearance; criminal record background check.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
