Job description

Position Summary Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to support the modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This role focuses on microservices development, AWS-native services, REST services, and CI/CD implementation in an Agile delivery environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.

Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3. Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects. * Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.

Support Agile software development and delivery. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Required Qualifications * Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.

9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 7 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree. Experience with AWS tool suites such as OSS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and CloudWatch. Experience with at least 3 of the required skill areas below: Java, Spring Boot, or Python.

Microservice architectures. CI/CD tools including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible. * NoSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB query and schema design.
