Job description

Job Duties: Associate, Non-Self-Sustaining Advisor with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida. Support existing client relationships, as well as source and develop new business opportunities and a strong network of intermediaries in the Latin America market. Formulate and express investment views for clients' portfolios, fielding questions for clients on what is happening in the markets, and outlining the Firm's investment thesis for the future, which encompasses all global asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, option derivative securities, foreign currencies, hedge funds, real estate, private equity and bank lending. Create comprehensive wealth management plans for ultra-high net worth individuals and families predominantly based in Latin America, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. Work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies. Deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of the firm's US-based trading authorization and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Create asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations to clients.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and one (1) year of experience (with a Master's) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's) in the job offered or in a related role.

Prior employment must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's) or three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's) with: overseeing capital and executing sophisticated investment strategies across global markets; developing and implementing comprehensive investment strategies through in-depth market analysis and financial modeling; networking with investors, scheduling strategic meetings, and building trusted relationships in the process; Financial and Cash management; and holding investor calls to update on the status of capital markets and investments. Travel up to 30% of the time to Latin America required to build and maintain client relationships. All travel costs covered by Firm.
