August 21, 2026OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Trade Settlements Analyst to join our Investment Operations team on a 12-month term.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate settlement and recording of all approved public market investment transactions-including equities, fixed income, futures, foreign exchange, and money market instruments. This role involves authorizing and issuing settlement instructions to agent banks and custodians to minimize financial and reputational risk associated with failed trades. You will also provide expert support and guidance to Portfolio Managers and Traders on settlement processes for both new and existing investment products and will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and mitigating settlement risk across all counterparties.

Note: This role will close at 11:59pm on August 20th, 2026Responsibilities Include:
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of all publicly listed investment transactions (including Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, FX Spots and FX Forward trades, Money Markets, and Repo trades).
  • Investigate and resolve all trade differences between AIMCo and Brokers.
  • Ensure all trades from our Aladdin system are sent downstream to the relevant Custodians and Prime Brokers.
  • Provide expert settlement advice and analysis to other areas within AIMCO concerning new and existing products.
  • Coordinate internal movement of assets between Custodian and Prime Brokers, resulting in lower borrowing rates for portfolios.
  • Manage the settlement and maturity of all Repo/Reverse Repo transactions with counterparties to ensure timely settlement and accurate recording in AIMCo's Aladdin system.
  • Manage the settlement of all collateral movements directed by the Collateral Management team to ensure timely settlement of transfers, allowing AIMCo to meet its collateral obligations.
  • Manage the settlement of Foreign Currency trades with counterparties. Monitor and maintain State Street TradeNexus multi-counterparty foreign exchange trade matching and confirmation system.
  • Assist the Front Office in coordinating settlement of Private Placements.
  • Create/maintainAIMCosettlement instructions in Aladdin for Equity and Fixed Income trades.
  • Developing, documenting, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key Trade Settlement activities.
  • Create manual trade and FX instructions, when required.
  • Create/maintain AIMCo settlement instructions in TradeNexus for FX Spots and Forwards.
  • Setting up new brokers and liaising with Legal, Compliance and Securities Operations for new account documentation and coordinating with counterparties to ensure settlement instructions are in place prior to trading.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all current and new investment products.
  • Keeping up to date on all market and regulatory changes impacting AIMCo.
  • Assist Front Office with special projects.

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Mathematics or another related field supplemented by designations such as CSC or CFA.
  • 4+ years of related experience in the investment industry.
  • Advanced understanding of financial markets, institutional asset management, investment regulations, complex investment strategies, investment process and best practices relating to internal controls and procedures.
  • In-depthknowledge of current industry settlement practices plus familiarity with various investment products.
  • Functional knowledge of Aladdin would be considered an asset.
  • Analytical abilities needed to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, solve problems, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking, while completing work with high attention to detail.
