Position Summary

The Workforce Coordinator supports workforce operations for the Homemaker department in Resnick & Goldsmith ALF and the Nursing departments across the assisted living communities of MorseLife Health System. This role is responsible for coordinating staffing and scheduling activities, managing employee timecards, and supporting workforce compliance. The Workforce Coordinator partners closely with department leaders to ensure appropriate staffing coverage and efficient workforce operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Staffing & Scheduling

  • Manage employee schedules using designated workforce management systems.
  • Coordinate coverage for callouts, PTO requests, vacancies, and staffing shortages.
  • Monitor staffing levels, attendance, overtime, and workforce trends.
  • Contact employees regarding open shifts and schedule changes.
  • Maintain staffing rosters and employee scheduling information.
  • Generate staffing and attendance reports as requested.
  • Hiring Process Support
  • Assist the hiring managers with the review of resumes to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Support the hiring managers in coordinating interviews for open positions.
  • Submit requisitions for approved vacancies.
  • Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and recruitment activities as needed.
  • Coordinate candidate communication throughout the hiring process if necessary.

Timekeeping & Workforce AdministrationDepartment Onboarding Support

  • Maintain employee timekeeping records within the company’s timekeeping system.
  • Process missed punches, schedule discrepancies, and timekeeping corrections.
  • Audit timecards prior to payroll processing.
  • Monitor attendance and labor-related data.
  • Maintain confidential employee, staffing, and workforce records.
  • Generate workforce-related reports as requested.
  • Coordinate department-specific orientation schedules and start dates in collaboration with hiringmanagers
  • Partner with Human Resources to support completion of required training activities post start date, including monitoring and following up on assigned learning modules and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate unit or floor-specific onboarding schedules, expectations, and training plans to new hires following their start date.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in staffing, scheduling, workforce coordination, administration, senior living, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with OnShift, UKG/Kronos, or comparable workforce management systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workforce management software.
