Must have experience with reading and understanding P&ID's, bending SS tubing by hand and with tabletop bender from low pressure 316SS to high pressure 2507 and Parker Autoclave, knowledge of Swagelok and parker Autoclave fittings and valves, installation of tubing tray systems, tubing clamps, installation of TSE loops, Pressure testing, hydro testing, and flushing.


Requirements
  • Must have experience with reading and understanding P&ID's, bending SS tubing by hand and with tabletop bender from low pressure 316SS to high pressure 2507 and Parker Autoclave, knowledge of Swagelok and parker Autoclave fittings and valves, installation of tubing tray systems, tubing clamps, installation of TSE loops, Pressure testing, hydro testing, and flushing.
  • Measure, bend, and install stainless steel tubing lines in specified sizes, as directed by the Foreman or Supervisor.
  • Install tubing fittings and apply necessary lubricants for proper function.
  • Fabricate and install trays made from stainless steel, fiberglass, and aluminum as required.
  • Pull and organize necessary parts and materials to support job tasks.
  • Submit daily task updates and progress reports to the Superintendent.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working offshore 
  • Ability to read blueprints/safe charts.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an instrumentation tubing fitter, preferably in offshore environments.
  • Ability to interpret and work from P&IDs, isometric drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with the tools required for tubing installation and general mechanical tasks.
  • Strong understanding of tubing systems, materials, and installation practices.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights while complying with safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays in demanding conditions.
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach to tasks.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to reach with arms and use tools above/over the head.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist.
  • Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
  • Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.
  • Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in all weather and temperature extremes.
