Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced 1st Class Structural Fitter to join our fabrication shop in Pascagoula. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of structural steel fitting experience in a heavy industrial or fabrication shop environment. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, advanced layout and fit-up abilities, precision metric measuring, and proficiency in torch cutting and material preparation. Candidates must be capable of working independently, maintaining production efficiency, and passing a hands-on craft test.


Must-Have Qualifications


  • Minimum 3 years of structural fitting experience in a fabrication shop or heavy industrial setting
  • Ability to pass a hands-on craft test for 1st Class Structural Fitter classification
  • Strong experience with structural steel layout and fit-up
  • Proficient in torch cutting and grinding structural materials
  • Ability to perform accurate metric measurements (cm, mm)
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret structural blueprints and fabrication drawings
