Position Summary
The Fitness Assistant is responsible for reception and customer service, enforcement of safety and security measures, upkeep and cleaning of equipment, filing paperwork, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, thorough understanding of PE and fitness curriculum, assistance in fitness testing, and any other reasonable duties.
Reporting Relationship
Direct reporting relationship to the Director of Athletics and Assistant Director of Athletics
Essential Responsibilities
  1. Reception, customer service, and filing
  2. Assistance in fitness testing
  3. Upkeep and cleaning of fitness equipment

Other Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Current CPR Certification preferred
  2. Effective interpersonal skills necessary to interface with students, staff and faculty, and general public.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in health club/fitness facility setting.

Anticipated Work Hours and Days
Variable Monday -Thursday, 7a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday 8a.m. to 12 p.m.
