Retro Fitness Long Island, NY | Run the Business. Lead the Team. Set the Standard
Retro Fitness Long Island is looking for a General Manager who wants to run a high volume business, not just manage a gym.
You will own results, lead a full team across sales, fitness, and operations, and set the tone members feel the moment they walk through the doors. This is a floor leadership role where you win through people, urgency, and daily execution.

What you will do
As General Manager, you are the ultimate owner of performance and experience inside your club.
• Lead daily operations across Sales, Fitness, Front Desk, and Club Cleaner
• Own membership growth, personal training revenue, and retention
• Build and hold accountable a high performing team
• Reinforce Retro Fitness standards through daily example
• Be visible on the floor coaching staff and engaging members
• Resolve member issues with confidence and professionalism
• Manage schedules, payroll accuracy, and staffing coverage
• Track key metrics and manage the club to budget
• Partner closely with your Regional Manager on strategy and results
• Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays except Christmas
What we are looking for
We want leaders who can run a fast paced, high traffic club.
• 2 to 3 years leading teams of 5 to 15 people
• 3 to 5 years in fitness, retail, or hospitality
• Proven experience driving sales and retention
• Comfortable owning performance metrics and budgets
• Strong communicator who can coach and correct in the moment
• High accountability and hands on leadership style
• CPR certified or willingness to obtain within 30 days

• Experience managing a multi department gym
• Background in personal training sales
• Track record of improving club performance
