Fitness Factory makes purchasing home and commercial fitness equipment fast, easy, convenient, and affordable. Our products play an immense role in changing, influencing, and enhancing the lives of our customers.
Our established company with a 35-year history of success is growing. We are seeking an Inside Salesperson to work with our eCommerce sales team in our Forest Park, IL office.
You may be the ideal candidate if:

  • You have an ability to manage a high volume of potential and existing customers daily
  • You have impeccable organizational skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Identify potential vertical market customers and make outbound calls, emails and send mailers
  • Field incoming leads via phone, chat and email during set retail hours
  • Reach out to incomplete website carts to help them complete a purchase (make the sale)
  • Consult potential and existing customers and match them with the best products for their needs
  • Actively work to add on to every sale
  • Send quotes, follow up, and manage sales pipeline to see all non-immediate sales to completion
  • Manage open order report to ensure orders are shipped on time
  • Work with shipping carriers and customers to solve problems in the event any delivery issues arise
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Backup sales support as customer service on each e-commerce platform, as needed
  • Work as a team to hit monthly sales goal

General Qualifications:
  • Prior sales experience - great closer
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to retain and apply technical product knowledge
  • Average to strong typing skills
  • Ability to proficiently navigate Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to work on-site in office, 5 days per week
  • Positive attitude
  • Background in sales prospecting

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fitness-minded lifestyle and passion a plus
  • Experience with eCommerce sales
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer phone sales
