Quality Assurance Engineering Advisor
What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineering Advisor do at Fiserv?
A successful Quality Assurance Engineering Advisor helps ensure our software products meet high standards for quality, reliability and performance. This role works closely with development and product teams to identify issues, strengthen quality practices and improve the user experience. It also helps shape quality assurance processes, frameworks and continuous improvement efforts across the team.
What you will do?
  • Lead the execution of detailed quality assurance testing for complex software products.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Identify, report and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to improve quality practices and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members to support adherence to quality assurance best practices.

What you must have?
  • 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile methodologies.

What would be nice to have?
  • 1+ certification in software testing methodologies.
  • Experience with 2+ categories of tools and practices, including automated testing tools and CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with 2+ quality areas, including security testing practices and software development lifecycles.
