Their duties can include troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring data accuracy, assisting users with financial platforms, and implementing system updates. FIS Agents may work for financial institutions, software providers, or companies that use complex financial technology systems. They play a crucial role in ensuring that business operations relying on financial systems run smoothly and efficiently.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a FIS Agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a FIS (Financial Information Services) Agent, you need strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial products, and typically a degree in finance, business, or a related field. FIS Agents often face challenges such as managing high call volumes, addressing complex customer issues, and staying updated on evolving financial products or systems. To effectively manage these challenges, agents benefit from strong communication skills, in-depth product knowledge, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. FIS (Federal Inspection Station) Agent

As a leading airport logistics service provider, we are seeking a highly motivated and energetic team member focused on delivering quality customer service. As a Federal Inspection Station Agent, you will be working at the Airside, providing Customer Service to international Passengers, and communicating with Customer Border Protection (CBP) and GOAA management.

Job Description

Essential Duties:

  • Gates: Responsible for communicating the arrival of each international flight to GOAA leads. Communicate flight number, arrival time, gate, and carousel used. The gate agent is also responsible to set the sterile corridor to “International” mode when the flight arrives, and to “Domestic” mode once all passengers and crew members deplane. Monitors the sterile corridor for security breaches, and immediately communicates discrepancies to the lead, SAS Supervisor, and GOAA Supervisor.

Retrieve baggage cart and return to FIS area to be reused. Direct passengers to airline representatives and TSA officers when connecting to other flights.

  • Hallways: Ensure the safe transition of passengers taking escalators with their luggage. Maintain Passenger flow through the shuttle area. Provide information and directions to passengers and answer their questions.
