Job description

Job Description/Expectations:

  • Oversee cases and work with lead attorney as needed, depending on case and preference (mentoring and independence available, as preferred)
  • Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
  • Review/analyze discovery; propound discovery requests
  • Work on hearing and trial preparation
  • Represent clients in court and at mediation.
  • Comply with all legal stands and regulations.
  • Pitch in with other cases as needed
  • Bill an average of 140 hours per month
  • Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in law or just passed the bar
  • Familiarity with various pleading documents
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to build a rapport with clients
  • Excellent understanding of deadlines and timeframes
  • Excellent research and writing and verbal communication skills
