POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for receiving inspection of hardware from suppliers. Expectation to cross-train to final inspection/DSQR.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:
  • Follow all safety and EHS policies and procedures.
  • Follow all GE Aerospace and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain quality workmanship with attention directed to task at all times.
  • Evaluate quality problems that inhibit the process with an effective solution.
  • Ability to adapt to new methods and / or customer satisfaction.
  • Must display good communication skills, both written and oral, in the English language.
  • Maintain records and perform related duties in assigned department.
  • Cooperative in meeting schedules and customer satisfaction.
  • Display teamwork attitude towards others in department and facility.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance and work reasonable amount of overtime as needed.
  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform final inspection of parts, assemblies, or products to verify conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and contractual requirements.
  • Review and validate inspection records, test results, certifications, and product documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Serve as a Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) in accordance with applicable customer and business requirements (If applicable)
  • Ensure all nonconforming conditions are identified, documented, and escalated per established quality procedures.
  • Verify configuration, traceability, marking, packaging, and shipping readiness prior to release.
  • Support first article inspection, process verification, and audit readiness activities as needed.
  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering, supplier quality, and customer representatives to resolve inspection and documentation issues.
  • Maintain accurate records in Oracle and TipQA.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce escapes, improve process capability, and strengthen compliance.
  • Split Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm
