1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

Overall Summary

As Maintenance Service Specialist, you will perform maintenance on both CNC and Manual equipment. The Maintenance Specialist will assist outside OEM technicians to gain experience in repairing and set-up of new equipment. 

Your duties will include:

  1. Perform troubleshooting and evaluates mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical unit and controls to determine source of malfunction.
  2. Uses blueprints, machine specifications, and schematic drawings to determine repair procedures.
  3. Removes and replaces defective units, controls, or components. Tests and repairs components such as PC boards, power supplies, and controls stations with oscilloscopes, VOM’s, logic probe
  4. Adjusts sensitive electrical, thermal, and timing devices to machine specifications.
  5. Starts repaired and/or new equipment to verify readiness for operation.
  6. Complies with all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures.
  7. Must have valid current driver’s license to drive to local vendors for repair parts and supplies.
  8. Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
  9. Assist outside contractors, i.e.: fire systems, insurance inspectors, etc.
  10. Responsible for monitoring all daily Industrial Wastewater Discharge Points (pH pits and Outfalls)

About You

 

We might be a great match if you have: 

  • Ability to replace ball screws, servo motors, solenoid valve, control boards.
  • Willingness to obtain aerial and forklift license within the first year after starting.
  • Proficiency in soldering, welding, and fabricating.
  • VOM, clamp on Ammeter, Hammers, pliers, and wrenches.

 

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification

Driver’s license is required

Current forklift and aerial license required or must be willing to obtain forklift and aerial license within first 6 months of hire.

YOUR EDUCATION

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related technical field strongly preferred

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

I: At least 1 year experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician involving electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including repairing CNC equipment OR minimum one year experience as Machinist.

II: At least 3 years' experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician involving electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including repairing CNC equipment.

Sr: At least 5 years' experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician involving electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including repairing CNC equipment.
