DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for high performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, wire enclosures and much more!

We are privately held American owned small business made up of five (5) vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.

We are looking for dependable, fast-paced, hard-working individuals with experience as a Quality Source Administrator with the following qualifications and experience:

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Source Administrator position encompasses thorough verification of all specifications, requirements, and quality standards established for the products and services. Typical criteria examined stem from contractual agreements, regulatory mandates, best practices, and the buyer’s quality expectations. Confirm the product matches engineering drawings and specifications. Comparing quality documents, certifications, inspection data, and product traceability information validates adherence to requirements.

SCHEDULE/COMPENSATION

  • Monday through Thursday (4-Day, 40-Hour Workweek)
    • 6:00AM - 4:30PM
    • Possible OT on Friday and/or Saturday as production demands require
  • Hourly; Full-Time $25 to 28/HR (Depending on Experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Performs visual inspections on completed assemblies and determines compliance with established procedures and engineering drawings/specifications for Source Inspection submittal.
  • First Article inspection requires knowledge of AS9102 and utilizes Discus first article software.
  • Source inspection prep evaluates all essential criteria to ensure the procured item fulfills quality, legal, regulatory, functionality, and performance obligations before customer submittal. Comparing quality documents, certifications, inspection data, and product traceability information validates adherence to requirements.
  • Schedule and arrange customer source inspection
  • Issue weekly status reports and request product follow-ups.
  • Perform In-Process and Final Inspections as required
  • (Dimensional, visual, and functional inspections for in-process, and final product verification)
  • Demonstrates the ability to read and understand government contract requirements and military specifications as required.
  • Maintains quality records and files in accordance with established Quality Program Plan.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or GED with 1 year minimum job related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) Techniques.
  • Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax and scanning machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands include the following but are not limited to: good mobility, ability to move between the 2 facilities and within the facilities, lift 25-30lbs., lift bundles to shelves , cables and harnesses and carry to different departments, bending and or standing as necessary.
