Job description

Position Summary

As the first line of defense the Enterprise Loan Service Compliance Manager is responsible for preventing, detecting, and monitoring operational, regulatory, and reputational risks. The manager is responsible for leading Quality Control and Quality Assurance Measures that identifies and reports incidences of non-compliance by reviewing account documentation for accuracy/completeness. Scheduled reviews of the components of account records on the Banks servicing system, including and reporting of errors and areas of concern . The manager will proactively identify/respond to high-profile issues and emerging risks critical to the Banks internal risk and compliance partners. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Enhance control governance and reporting by identifying relevant metrics to provide insights on the health of the operational risk and control landscape for Mortgage, Retail and Commercial Loans. .
  • Assess operational strengths and vulnerabilities related to acquisitions.
  • Design business platform enhancements to support new and existing products
  • Lead designated meetings to include establishing deadlines for key partners, and working with key partners to ensure the meetings continue to add value.
  • Leverage technology and process improvements to reduce reliance on manual processes.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and developments relevant to the banking industry and compliance activities.
  • Provide support during regulatory examinations.
  • Work closely with Risk Management to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of existing laws and regulations by incorporating adequate controls within processing activities, resulting in minimal audit and examination exceptions.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to ensure adherence to quality control standards, regulatory requirements, and process improvement initiatives within the Enterprise Loan Servicing department
Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Mortgage, Retail and Commercial Loan structures and regulations
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
    • Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management processes, workflows, and terminology.

Ability to:

  • Develop new procedures and approaches to solve problems
  • Work independently within an established review process, prioritize tasks and capable of balancing multiple tasks at once to meet timelines.
  • Manage multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
  • Possess analytical, problem solving, and critical/creative thinking skills.

Education and Training:

  • 7-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in Compliance, Risk Management, or Bank Lending Operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business-related field preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex compliance data and identify trends or patterns.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint; knowledge of Smartsheet preferred
  • Demonstrated project management and leadership experience in financial services.
  • Strong organizational, attention to detail, time management, and planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.

(Base Pay Range:$75,000.00 - 105,000.00/year)
