Job description

The Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a Full Time Allergy and Immunology Physician. The candidate must have completed an Allergy and Immunology Fellowship and be Board Certified/Eligible in Allergy and Immunology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.


Opportunity Details

  • Join a group of 11 physicians and 4 advanced providers
  • Help to further grow, build, and develop our existing practice
  • Clinical responsibilities will include outpatient clinic and shared inpatient consultations.
  • Serve a large and diverse community of patients in western Pennsylvania and beyond with asthma, allergies, eczema and inborn errors of immunity with well-established sub-specialty and multidisciplinary clinics for severe asthma, eczema, eosinophilic esophagitis, and immunodeficiency.
  • Multiple subspecialty areas of focus, with an established multispecialty Asthma Center and Severe Asthma Clinic and a multispecialty research and clinical center caring for patients with inborn errors of immunity in our Pittsburgh Immunogenetics Discovery Center.
  • Committed to research, with our own research assistant dedicated to our division, and access to our unique Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center, one of only a handful of centers in the nation funded by the NIH and devoted to pediatric research.
  • Robust Food Allergy Center, with active clinical trials in food allergy, a dedicated nurse food allergy coordinator, and designation as a FARE center of excellence.
  • The Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Division has a consult service and a vibrant ACGME-accredited combined fellowship program as well as a close relationship with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine adult allergists.
