Job description

We are a small, well-established law firm based in West Palm Beach, Florida, seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably within a defense firm handling first-party property matters.

This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to play a key role in all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage litigation case files from inception through trial
  • Conduct public records review and investigations
  • Draft, prepare, and file legal documents and pleadings
  • Handle party and non-party discovery production
  • Summarize records and documents
  • Assist with mediation, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Maintain organized case files and meet billable hour requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in civil litigation (first-party property preferred)
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional interaction with attorneys, court personnel, clients, and staff
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe
