  • Champion Gravitate's employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance challenges.
  • Promote a high-autonomy, high-trust culture through fair policies, transparent communication, and proactive feedback loops.
  • Lead initiatives that foster employee engagement, belonging, and cross-functional collaboration, helping maintain a strong, connected culture across a geographically distributed workforce.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a polished, professional, and consistent employee experience.
  • Administer and evolve employee benefits, 401(k), and compensation programs in alignment with market trends and business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend benefits and perks that support attraction and retention, working with brokers and external partners as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Develop, document, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.
  • Manage immigration cases in collaboration with legal counsel and leadership.
  • Implement and manage performance review cycles, goal-setting, and feedback processes.
  • Identify growth and development pathways for employees, especially early-career talent, while providing light-touch support for senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports on key people metrics.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and optimization of HR technology tools.
  • Lead recruitment strategies and hiring operations for all Gravitate roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions, and drive selection and offer processes.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven ability to operate independently with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Workspace
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR generalist or HR manager roles.
  • Experience in a high-growth tech or software company is strongly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, employment immigration, recruiting, and benefits administration.
