Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive leadership role will oversee multi-unit hospitality operations while driving operational excellence, leadership development, and scalable growth.

About the Role

The Director of Hospitality will serve as the senior operational leader overseeing multiple hospitality venues while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive operational excellence, leadership development, financial performance, and an exceptional guest experience.

This is more than a traditional multi-unit operations roleโ€”it is an opportunity to build the systems, processes, and culture that will support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coaching leaders, improving operations, analyzing financial performance, and supporting new location openings.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape the future of a growing hospitality organization while making a lasting impact on its people, culture, and operations.

Responsibilities Leadership & Culture
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire high-performing hospitality leaders across multiple locations

  • Foster a culture centered around accountability, collaboration, transparency, and guest-first hospitality

  • Build leadership development programs, coaching initiatives, and succession planning

  • Implement structured onboarding, performance management, and professional development programs

  • Increase employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture

  • Serve as a visible leader who builds trust through consistency, communication, and hands-on support

Multi-Unit Operations
  • Lead operations across multiple hospitality venues with a focus on consistency, profitability, and service excellence

  • Support venue leaders through coaching, operational planning, and performance management

  • Ensure consistent execution of hospitality standards across all locations

  • Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining an exceptional guest experience

  • Support future venue openings and expansion initiatives

Financial & Business Leadership
  • Own operational financial performance across multiple locations

  • Analyze P&Ls, labor, sales, margins, and operating expenses

  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and operational business plans

  • Create management routines that promote proactive decision-making

  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue while improving operational efficiency

Systems & Scalability
  • Develop scalable SOPs and operational playbooks

  • Standardize training, service standards, reporting, and operational processes

  • Improve cross-functional communication and operational consistency

  • Build repeatable processes for future venue openings

Guest Experience
  • Champion hospitality excellence across every guest touchpoint

  • Regularly spend time in the venues coaching managers and supporting operations

  • Review guest feedback and implement meaningful improvements

  • Partner with culinary and leadership teams to continually elevate the guest experience

  • Ensure hospitality standards remain consistent across all locations

Strategic Growth
  • Partner with executive leadership on organizational strategy

  • Help identify opportunities for operational improvements and revenue growth

  • Collaborate with marketing, events, and community initiatives

  • Stay current on hospitality trends and best practices

  • Play a key role in helping scale a growing hospitality platform

Qualifications / Requirements
  • 8+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience (10โ€“15 years preferred)

  • Significant multi-unit leadership experience within a hospitality group, restaurant group, brewery, or similar multi-unit organization

  • Proven success opening new locations and leading organizations through periods of growth

  • Strong front- and back-of-house operational leadership with a guest-first mindset

  • Demonstrated success developing, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing leadership teams

  • Experience building scalable systems, SOPs, and operational processes that drive consistency and accountability

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and P&L oversight

  • People-first leadership style with the ability to balance operational excellence, accountability, and culture

  • Exceptional communication, coaching, relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence leaders at all levels and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Passion for building strong teams while delivering exceptional guest experiences

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $120,000-$150,000 (flexible DOE)
