Utah Valley University is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support the Entrepreneurship Institute's student-focused programs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by coordinating mentoring initiatives, maintaining accurate program data, and improving processes that enhance the student experience. As a key point of contact, the Program Coordinator will guide students through program offerings, connect them with valuable resources, and help ensure programs operate efficiently as they grow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and collaborating with students and colleagues to support innovation, entrepreneurship, and student success.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Student Business Tracking & Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student businesses across all programs. Track and analyze key performance indicators, including revenue, engagement, and program participation. Generate reports and dashboards to support program evaluation and decision-making. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
- Mentoring Program Coordination: Administer the day-to-day operations of the mentoring program. Coordinate mentor-mentee matching, communication, and scheduling. Monitor engagement, collect feedback, and track program outcomes. Identify and implement improvements to enhance program effectiveness
- Process Development & Optimization: Develop, document, and refine operational processes and workflows. Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions. Standardize procedures across programs to ensure consistency and quality. Support the adoption of tools and systems that improve program management
- Student Support & Advising: Meet with students to guide program participation and progression. Assist students in identifying resources, opportunities, and next steps. Address questions and challenges, connecting students with appropriate support. Encourage accountability and consistent engagement in programs
- Program Knowledge, Cross-Functional Support & Other Duties as Assigned. Maintain working knowledge of all Entrepreneurship Institute programs and offerings. Provide support for program coordination, communication, and event execution. Serve as a resource for program-related inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental needs.
Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
- Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree and one year of experience or any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling three years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship principles, startup development, and early-stage business metrics
Understanding of program administration, student development, and mentoring frameworks.

Knowledge
- Knowledge of basic office practices, etiquette, and administration
- General understanding of entrepreneurship programs and student support services
- Familiarity with data tracking, reporting, and basic program coordination
- Working knowledge of computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and databases
