Job description

The Fleet Manager, AAT will work directly with the Operations Planner and Professional Drivers to run day to day operations. They will be responsible for dispatching all loads and communicating the load information to drivers as well as being the drivers' first line of communication for related topics. The Fleet Manager will also work with other departments to ensure operational goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch loads to professional drivers and ensure drivers confirm on every load.
  • Assist in load planning with professional driver and advise on trip plan.
  • Responsible for being drivers' first point of contact for all issues.
  • Distribute information form drivers to proper department.
  • Work with planner and CSR to ensure pick up and delivery times are met.
  • Monitor IVG messaging.
  • DTTS performance management.
  • CPM responses to DTTS performance.
  • Assist drivers with increasing productivity with their hours of service.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedule with Director of Safey.
  • Work with Director of Safety to ensure trucks are ready for planning.
