Job Summary:

Raymond James is seeking a Senior Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills to bridge the gap between Risk Management and technology. This role is critical in understanding front-line processes, designing data architecture, and collaborating with IT to implement solutions that integrate data across multiple departments. Under limited supervision, you will collaborate across departments, playing a key role in shaping the firm's risk information systems. This position requires exceptional analytical ability, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial operations and systems.

Please note: This role is not eligible for immigration Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Advance the business analysis function for Risk Management, ensuring that deliverables meet business needs, comply with enterprise standards, and adhere to regulatory expectations.

Perform Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing to validate system functionality and data integrity.

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, translating business needs into clear, detailed requirements for systems that store and manage data.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within assigned workflows.

Translate technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders through presentations and executive summaries.

Manage multiple priorities and deadlines using effective project management and time-tracking practices.

Knowledge of:

Risk Management principles and practices, including market, credit, and liquidity risk.

Agile methodologies and experience working in iterative design environments.

Analytical tools and platforms: SQL, Excel, Tableau, QlikSense.

Data preparation and cleansing best practices.

Skill in:

Translating complex business objectives into detailed technical documentation.

Extracting and manipulating data from source systems using SQL, Python, or other analysis tools.

Reconciling and validating data from multiple sources to ensure IT solutions deliver required results.

Communicating technical insights effectively through presentations and visual storytelling.

Ability to:

Collaborate with business partners to understand their processes and translate them into requirements for data storage and transformation.

Write technical documentation, requirements, and instructions, then break them into actionable steps.

Adapt quickly to evolving needs and deliver concise, actionable insights under tight timelines.

Work independently and prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Develop and justify data-driven recommendations that consider constraints and potential outcomes.

Education/Previous Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in financial services.

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience approved by Human Resources
