As Mortgage Loan Originator, you will build and manage a strong pipeline of conventional mortgage loans, anticipate underwriter requests, and guide members through one of their biggest lifetime purchases. Work with a team of mortgage professionals who enjoy the unique, challenging, and satisfying nature of making a home loan happen - on time! As Mortgage Loan Originator with Community First Credit Union, you will:
  • Build relationships. Use deep listening to understand our members' needs not only related to mortgage lending, but to other products and services offered by the credit union, and align their needs with our best-in-class array of products and services.
  • Demonstrate expertise. Your knowledge of the mortgage lending process, proactive attitude, and exceptional follow up ability will shine in this role.

We are looking for a combination of:
  • Associate's degree in banking, finance, business, or a related field
  • Three or more years of consumer and/or mortgage lending experience
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending, secondary market products, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite and web-based software packages
  • The ability of work hard, find solutions, and have fun
  • Passion for providing outstanding service to our members - internal and external
