TS Bank is seeing to hire a Regional SVP of Ag Banking position. This role is a senior relationship leader responsible for developing, managing, and growing high-value agricultural banking relationships while helping elevate ag banking excellence across the organization. This role is first and foremost a client-facing relationship management role, requiring strong production capability, sound credit judgment, and deep credibility in the agricultural community. In addition, the Regional SVP of Ag Banking serves as a mentor and technical resource for other Ag Relationship Managers, helping improve relationship strategy, deal structure, portfolio discipline, and client engagement practices. The role also contributes to the organization's broader ag market focus by identifying growth opportunities, competitive dynamics, and best practices across markets in partnership with growth and community banking leadership.

Preferred education and/or experience includes: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in the field of business, including specific courses in Accounting, finance, and economics; at least eight to ten years related banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of high-value agricultural banking relationships.
  • Serve as a lead relationship manager for complex ag clients and prospects.
  • Model relationship management excellence in calling strategy, client discovery, advisory conversations, and relationship expansion.
  • Partner with credit and lending teams on complex ag structures, renewals, pricing, risk assessment, and borrower strategy.
  • Mentor and guide Ag RMs across markets through deal consultation, coaching conversations, joint calls, and portfolio reviews.
  • Help define and reinforce consistent expectations for ag relationship management excellence.
  • Identify ag market opportunities, competitive trends, product/service gaps, and client needs across the bank's footprint.
  • Support onboarding and development of less experienced ag lenders.
  • Provide situational leadership or direct supervision when business needs require, while remaining primarily focused on relationship management, mentorship, and ag banking excellence.
  • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
