Job description

Skills and Abilities

 

  • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ability to operate all inspection equipment such as but not limited to the following: CMM, Micro Height, ID/OD micrometers, calipers, UT Machine, and Magnetic particle yokes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, standard operating procedures, and customer/regulatory requirements and inspect parts to these documents.
  • Ability to do machine set up  verification and first article inspections of parts on the machines
  • Initiate non-conformance reports and any other quality records required by ETFH, customers, and any third-party agency.
  • Initiate corrective action request when conditions adverse to part quality are repetitive in nature.
  • Ability to meet 2 NDE requirements and as a company certified NDE Level II for UT, MT,  and PT.
  • Ability to perform all job duties of lower level inspections.
  • Assist in training of lower level employees.
  • Perform daily and regular cleaning in work area.
  • Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, and Group Leaders.
  • Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
