Job Description Title: Background Screening Adjudication and HR Compliance Specialist Location: Richmond, VA - Hybrid -3x on site and 2x remote Duration: 12 months + possible extension Pay Rate Range: $18-21/hr. W2 General Responsibilities: Execution of applicable HR processes & programs Adjudicate background screenings based on criminal, education, and work history Access/update multiple databases/trackers Support compliance changes, updates and initiatives Contact candidates to resolve discrepancies as needed Work with vendor to address minor candidate background issues Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 1 year of experience in an HR role with a focus on process management, risk mitigation, or compliance Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of process management or project management experience 1+ years of risk management experience 1+ years security, law enforcement, legal experience or paralegal experience with either an in-house legal department or a law firm 1+ year of experience in Human Resources 1 year of experience adjudicating background investigation results or pre-employment screenings against established guidelines Systems/software: Workday, Salesforce, First Advantage, DocuSign, Google Suite.
