Dental Treatment Coordinator

Sacramento River Dental Group – Sacramento, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:45 AM – 4:45 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay: $23–$26 per hour (Hourly)

Position Overview

We are seeking a confident and patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted patient advocate, guiding patients through their treatment journey by clearly presenting treatment plans, explaining clinical necessity, and coordinating financial solutions.

This is a key role in driving case acceptance, improving patient experience, and supporting overall practice growth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Present and explain complex treatment plans in a clear, patient-friendly manner

  • Educate patients on clinical needs and recommended care

  • Build trust and rapport to increase case acceptance rates

  • Review insurance benefits and outline financial options

  • Coordinate scheduling for same-day and future treatment

  • Collaborate closely with doctors, hygienists, and front office team

  • Follow up with patients regarding pending or unscheduled treatment

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records


Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of dental experience (Treatment Coordinator or similar role preferred)

  • Must have Dental experience
  • Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology

  • Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financials

Preferred:

  • Proven track record of high case acceptance

  • Familiarity with dental practice management software

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
