Responsibilities:
As an EEDP Software intern, you will receive a summer project that pertains todifferent partsof the business at GE HealthCare. Assignments may include:
Designing, testing, and debugging software features for GE HealthCare products
Developing and enhancing internal development or testing tools
Performing data analytics and visualization
Creating technical documentation and knowledge resources
Basic Qualifications:
Mustbe enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or master's degree program and planning to continue studies after Summer2027.
Pursuinga degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering (with a focus on software), or a closely related field.
Strong academic performance (GPA).
Required Skillsetmustinclude:Java, C++, and/or Python.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical problemsand solutionsin clear and simple terms.
Demonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Computer Engineering or Computer Science areas.
Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and in teams.
Proven leadership skills and/or experience.
Able to work for a minimum of10consecutiveweeks.

Preferred Qualifications:
A prior internship or co-op with software and/or firmware design experience.
Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale).
Proficiencyin software languages such as JavaScript, Perl, Shell scripting, C, and/or MATLAB.
Experience with object-oriented designmethodology, and/or algorithm development.
Experience with agile principles and methodologies.
Experience with Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence technologies.
Passion for a career in healthcare technology.
