  • A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a “Firewall Security Engineer"
     
    Position type: Full-Time Contract (W2)
    Role: “Firewall Security Engineer”
    Duration: 6+ Months Contract
    Location : San Jose, CA – (Hybrid Role)
     
    Must have required skills – Firewall Administration, Network Security, Data Center, VPN, NAT Configuration
    Primary Skill Required for the Role:
  • Design, implement, and support firewall security controls to protect enterprise networks, applications, and data across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize firewall policies, rule sets, NAT, VPNs, access controls, and threat prevention settings to enforce security requirements and connectivity standards

  • Details:
  • Perform firewall testing, change validation, and troubleshooting to confirm policy effectiveness, connectivity accuracy, and minimal business disruption
  • Maintain firewall documentation, rule recertification evidence, change records, and operational handoff materials to support governance, auditability, and supportability

  • The ideal candidate will have: Strong expertise in Firewall Management (Palo Alto/Fortinet/Check Point/Cisco), Network Security & Segmentation, VPN and NAT Configuration, Firewall Policy & Rule Management, Firewall Troubleshooting, Log Analysis & Incident Response.

    Pay Range*: $75 - $85/- Per Hour
