Job Title: Truck Mechanic

HMD Motorsports, a well-established race team, has been competing in the INDY NXT by Firestone series for the past three years. Located in Brownsburg, Indiana, HMD Motorsports has helped advance five young drivers to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, North America's leading open-wheel auto racing series.

Job Summary:

HMD is looking to hire a full time, skilled and experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing semi-trucks, as well as maintaining and servicing our fleet.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on semi-trucks, including DOT inspections, replacement of brakes, shocks, slack adjusters, along with all other trailer axle components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of our trucks to identify potential issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Semi-truck repair: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification from a recognized technical school or vocational program is a plus.


Job Type: Full-time, On-site


Pay: $25 - $40 per hour


Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
