Firearms are portable weapons that use gunpowder or another propellant to launch one or more projectiles, typically bullets, at high velocity. Common examples include handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Firearms are widely used for purposes such as self-defense, hunting, sport shooting, and law enforcement. They are regulated by strict laws that vary by country and region, often requiring permits or licenses for ownership and use.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a firearms instructor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Firearms Instructor, you need extensive firearms knowledge, safety expertise, and certifications such as NRA or state-specific instructor credentials.
