Purpose of Position: Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment. This includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge, and embodying Sportsman's Warehouse values in all interactions. Sportsman's Warehouse Outfitter - Essential Job Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, identifying their needs, providing product recommendations, and creating a welcoming shopping experience.

Demonstrate product knowledge across multiple departments to assist customers with merchandise selection and answer questions accurately. Process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and other transactions accurately while following company policies and cash handling procedures. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, facing product, rotating merchandise, building displays, installing signage, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Receive, unload, verify, and process incoming freight while ensuring inventory accuracy and timely replenishment of merchandise. Assist with backroom organization, inventory management, cycle counts, price changes, and maintaining accurate stock levels. Operate material handling equipment and safely move merchandise throughout the store in accordance with company safety policies (as authorized and trained).

Maintain department cleanliness and ensure aisles, displays, and work areas remain safe and free of hazards. Support seasonal merchandise transitions, promotional events, store resets, and special projects as assigned. Collaborate with fellow Outfitters and leadership to meet sales, customer service, operational, and inventory goals.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, loss prevention standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain regular and reliable attendance, work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the business.
