ResponsibilitiesParticipates in research activities, quality improvement, or evidence-based practice initiatives. Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of all education activities on assigned unit(s). Manages the onboarding and orientation of all new employees and students on assigned unit(s). May perform clinical patient care when needed. Supports an environment that promotes evidence based nursing practice based on nursing research, scientific inquiry, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice. Collaborates with nursing leaders and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.
