Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
  • Develop proposals outlining recommended safety solutions, including cost estimates and timelines.
  • Set and meet sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their fire safety needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess the client's needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Job Expectations
Lead Generation & Business Development
  • Develop and execute a territory-based business development plan in coordination with leadership and marketing.
  • Maintain a structured follow-up process for all lead types to keep the pipeline active and improve conversion rates. Actively managing three primary lead sources:
    • Corporate and Website Inquiries - Respond promptly to warm leads and convert them into scheduled appointments.
    • Legacy Lead Book - Review older leads, qualify their potential, and re-engage where viable.
    • Cold Outreach - Conduct targeted cold calls and in-person visits to businesses within the territory to generate new opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the defined market.
  • Create and update territory plans to consistently meet or exceed sales goals

Client Engagement & Solution Delivery
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase fire and life safety solutions.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Prepare detailed proposals with clear cost estimates and timelines based on inspection findings.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements to provide expert consultations.
  • Attend initial cleanings to ensure smooth handoff to KEC technicians and coordinate with the warehouse manager for equipment readiness.

Customer Relations / Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders through virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction after each cleaning via email, surveys, and follow-up calls in coordination with the rest of the staff. we want to define a solid collaborative culture with Sales being as much involved with the deals sold as possible.
  • Address client complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to strengthen long-term customer relationships.
  • Communicate with clients after service to share updates on issues, resolutions, or positive feedback.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the fire and life safety industry or restaurant industry.
  • Technical knowledge of fire safety systems and equipment.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in dealing with various work environments, including grease or dirty rooftops.
  • Effective time management skills to balance multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail in conducting inspections, preparing reports, and recommending solutions using CRM and other applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks within the industry.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in commercial facility services or related fields preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Relevant certifications in fire and life safety or B2B sales.
  • College degree

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and on rooftops.
  • Physically fit, capable of lifting 40+ pounds and using A-frame ladders.
