Position Overview

As a Project Sales Representative Fire Sprinkler Systems, youll work with clients to design, propose, and close fire sprinkler projects, ensuring their systems meet NFPA standards and local compliance requirements. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complex world of fire protection.

Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and participation in industry events.

  • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess client fire protection needs and design compliant fire sprinkler solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and professional presentations to decision-makers.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and design to project close.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and long-term partnerships.

  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and customer satisfaction.

  • Stay current on NFPA codes, local regulations, and advancements in sprinkler system technology.

  • Maintain accurate activity records, opportunities, and outcomes in the CRM system.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required but are not necessarily all-inclusive.

Education & Experience


  • 3+ years of proven sales experience in fire sprinkler systems, fire protection, or related life safety industries (required).

  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and related fire protection codes.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and hydraulic calculations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.

  • Pay range for this role is On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 $150,000 annually (base + uncapped commission)
