Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and detail-oriented Fire Protection Engineer with 5+ years of experience to provide consulting services for internal and external clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously, and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
Position Overview
As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will design, analyze, and oversee fire protection and life safety systems across a variety of projects. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure code compliance, high-quality designs, and innovative solutions. This role also includes business development, client management, and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze fire protection systems, including automatic suppression systems, fire detection, alarm, and mass notification systems
  • Perform building and fire code analysis, including code interpretation and compliance review
  • Conduct egress analysis, smoke control analysis, fire-resistant construction analysis, and general fire protection research
  • Lead and coordinate internal project teams to deliver high-quality, well-coordinated design sets
  • Manage multiple clients and projects while maintaining project profitability
  • Develop project budgets, write proposals, and support business development initiatives
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships and establish new client opportunities
  • Conduct research, prepare technical documentation, and present findings internally and externally
  • Represent the company in professional organizations such as SFPE and NFPA
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical and project management matters
Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
  • Minimum 5 years of fire protection engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, life safety codes, and design standards
  • Demonstrated experience in fire protection system design and code analysis
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
