This position is located out of our Mobile, Alabama district office. JOB SUMMARY Complete Fire Protection Systems installation/service for all types of new and existing fire sprinkler projects. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/ installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Follow procedures to install, diagnose, and repair fire protection equipment • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs and operational product manuals. • Exhibit effective customer service skills, consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction • Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signatures. • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, travel or work weekends, as necessary. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS • General mechanical knowledge • Experience in Fire Sprinkler/Protection Installation, Service or Design ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS • NICET certification preferred but not required • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
