As an Aircraft Inspector II, you will perform routine inspections independently, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards. You will gain more responsibility in inspection planning and documentation. Responsibilities: * Conduct routine aircraft inspections.
* Plan and prepare for basic inspections.
* Document and report findings.
* Identify and correct minor non-conformities.
* Maintain compliance with inspection schedules and timelines. Qualifications You Must Have: * High school diploma or equivalent.
* 1+ years of relevant experience.
* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
* Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe (A), or Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate.
* Experience with aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
* Basic understanding of audit and inspection processes and procedures.
* Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance. Qualifications We Prefer: * Exposure to aviation maintenance and/or inspection operations processes and procedures.
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military. Essential Functions: * Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
* Stand and walk for extended periods.
* Work in varying environmental conditions. This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $26.39 - $36.29. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
