In this role, youโ€™ll bring doors to lifeโ€”installing, repairing, and maintaining wood, metal, and aluminum doors, along with all associated hardware in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Key Responsibilities:
  • Installย various types ofย doors, including interior, exterior, fire-rated, hollow metal, wood, and aluminum.

  • Mount and alignย doorย hardware such as locks, hinges, panic bars, closers, handles, kick plates, thresholds, and weather stripping.

  • Measure and cut openings or materials to fitย doorย frames as per specifications or blueprints.

  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, shop drawings, and manufacturer instructions.

  • Inspect and diagnoseย doorย and hardware issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.

  • Work with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to coordinateย installation.

  • Follow safety guidelines and ensure that all installations meet applicable building codes and ADA compliance where required.

  • Maintain a clean work area and keep tools and equipment in proper working condition.

  • Document work performed and materials used for job tracking and invoicing.

ย Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Some experience inย doorย and hardwareย installationย or related carpentry work.

  • Some knowledge of variousย doorย and hardware systems, including commercial-grade components.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.

  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record (if travel to job sites is required).
