As our team continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas.


Position Overview:

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will install, inspect, service, and troubleshoot commercial fire alarm systems for our customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service. You will work closely with customers, project managers, inspectors, and team members to ensure systems are installed and maintained in compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial fire alarm systems.
  • Perform fire alarm inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance in accordance with NFPA standards and company procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Complete all required inspection reports, service documentation, and material tracking accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding system operation, deficiencies, and recommended repairs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects and service calls are completed on schedule.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial fire alarm installation, service, or inspections preferred.
