Job description

Summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Badge/RFID Administrator to support security operations at Redstone Arsenal. This position plays a critical role in managing security credentialing programs, issuing and tracking RFID access cards, and ensuring compliance with established security policies that protect personnel, facilities, and assets. 

  • The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining the integrity of access control and credentialing processes. This role offers the opportunity to support mission-critical security operations while working closely with government personnel, contractors, and security stakeholders in a dynamic environment. 

Responsibilities
  • Administer RFID card, badge, and credentialing programs in accordance with established security requirements and procedures. 
  • Issue security credentials, including Access Badges, Common Access Cards (CACs), Courier Cards, and RFID access cards. 
  • Verify eligibility requirements and ensure all credentialing documentation is complete and accurate prior to issuance. 
  • Maintain credential issuance schedules, appointment calendars, and customer service support activities. 
  • Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems for RFID cards and related credentialing materials. 
  • Maintain accurate records of credential issuance, returns, deactivations, and reports of lost, stolen, compromised, or destroyed cards. 
  • Coordinate with security personnel and administrative staff to ensure the timely recovery and disposition of RFID credentials during employee out-processing. 
  • Ensure the safeguarding, accountability, and secure storage of RFID cards and related materials. 
  • Conduct inventory audits, accountability reviews, and reporting activities related to credential management programs. 
  • Coordinate notifications, documentation, and follow-up actions related to lost or stolen credential incidents. 
  • Provide support for CAC operations, special events, audits, and security-related activities as required. 
  • Respond to emergencies and assist medical, fire, law enforcement, and emergency response personnel as directed. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, Redstone Arsenal, or federal government credentialing programs. 
  • Experience utilizing identity management, access control, or credentialing systems. 
  • Experience supporting RFID credential administration and inventory management programs. 
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. 
  • Experience working in a customer service, administrative support, or security operations environment. 

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)  

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in badge administration. 
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in Common Access Card (CAC) administration. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with customers, employees, contractors, and government personnel. 
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail in a security-focused environment. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

  • Knowledge of badge administration, RFID credentialing, access control, and identity management procedures. 
  • Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills. 
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventories, logs, reports, and credentialing records. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems. 
  • Ability to interpret and apply security policies, procedures, and operating instructions. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
